Adam Smith, Pre-Team & Competitive Boys Program Director
Adam Smith is the Program Director for Men’s Gymnastics, bringing a wealth of experience and dedication to the role. He graduated from Hammond Elementary and Middle, followed by Atholton High School, where he proudly supported the Raiders. Adam holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Management and Finance and a Master of Business Administration, both from Salisbury University. With a competitive gymnastics background spanning 8 years, he has coached men’s gymnastics for over 20 years. His leadership roles include serving as a Men’s Program Director, where he has successfully coached and developed numerous Division I athletes, a junior national team member, and Nigeria’s only Olympic gymnast. Adam’s coaching philosophy emphasizes the development of young men both in the gym and in the community, fostering an environment that balances excellence in gymnastics with enjoyment and minimizing mental fears through a spot-heavy approach to training. In his free time, Adam enjoys cooking, watching movies as an AMC+ member, following sports, playing tennis, working on houses, traveling, and indulging in his favorite treat: ice cream.
